Modernist Landscapes Reconsidered at National Building Museum
National Capital Planning Commission hosts Gary Hilderbrand with Elizabeth Meyer, Merrill D. Peterson Professor of Landscape Architecture at University of Virginia, to discuss how to sensitively honor and adapt mid-twentieth century landscapes. Examples from Reed Hilderbrand’s career include Boston’s City Hall Plaza and Christian Science Plaza. The conversation will be moderated by Bradford McKee, Editor, Landscape Architecture Magazine.
