Senior Designer

Ambika is from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, a city residing at the juncture between an international airport, major logistics centers, suburbs, and extensive ravine conservation areas. With a growing interest in human interventions guiding these systems, Ambika earned a degree in Environmental Design from Ontario College of Art & Design University. She proceeded to complete her Masters of Landscape Architecture at the University of Toronto, where she spent several years working with Fadi Masoud at the Center for Landscape Research, contributing to a cannon of research in climate resiliency. She earned a World Landscape Architecture Award and Heather M. Reisman Gold Medal for her thesis, “On Thin Ice,” which proposes a reinvention of nautical systems in the Bering Strait. At Reed Hilderbrand since 2021, she has contributed to a number of residential commissions, including a private residence in Dallas with Thomas Phifer and Partners.
