Eliza Valk


Eliza is an artist and landscape architect based in New Haven, Connecticut. Previous to joining Reed Hilderbrand, Eliza rose to associate artistic director of Site Projects, producing its ten-year anniversary event series Catalyze + Celebrate which, through a series of installations, conversations and lectures, explored the intersections of art and urban design in New Haven’s public spaces. She co-founded and edited the Landscape Urbanism journal and website (now known as Scenario) winning an ASLA Honor Award in Communication in 2012. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. Trained as a dancer, Eliza earned a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from Oberlin College.
