Felicia Perez

Senior Designer

Felicia brings to Reed Hilderbrand a dynamic background shaped by over a decade of experience in the culinary and hospitality industries. Raised in Northern California, she earned her B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of San Francisco before working closely with renowned chef and humanitarian José Andrés in Washington, D.C., supporting his acclaimed restaurants and the mission of World Central Kitchen.

Deeply committed to social justice, food security, and global citizenship, her professional path evolved as she began exploring the relationship between food systems, community resilience, and the built environment—ultimately leading her to landscape architecture. Felicia pursued her Master of Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she integrated her culinary sensibilities into her design approach, often using food as a muse. Her work included edible models and live cocktail demonstrations during final reviews to translate landscapes through material, narrative, and sensory experience.

At Reed Hilderbrand, Felicia contributes to the design of the Great Island in Darien, Connecticut, leading community engagement and assisting as project manager. Outside of work, she enjoys New Haven’s coastal landscapes, climbing, ceramics, and hosting theme-based meals that bring people together.
