Izgi Uygur

Designer

Izgi received her master’s degree in landscape architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Science in Landscape Architecture from Istanbul Technical University (ITU). At the GSD, she focused on issues surrounding sea level rise in urban settings such as Miami Beach and Embarcadero coastline in San Francisco. Her graduate work was published in international conferences and acknowledged in media channels, such as the Miami Herald. Prior to joining Reed Hilderbrand, Izgi interned at MIT’s Office of Campus Planning and Klopfer Martin Design Group. She is interested in speculating on the interaction of atmosphere and landscape by exploring different visual mediums, including acrylic and oil painting. Her current projects at Reed Hilderbrand include Westchester Estate and a master plan for the City of Cambridge’s urban forest.
