Work Begins on Phase One of Darien's Great Island

We are excited to announce that Reed Hilderbrand will continue our work on Great Island in Darien, Connecticut. In this first phase of implementation, we are working with the Town to establish thoughtful pedestrian and vehicular access to Great Island, thereby bringing more people to experience the beauty of the Connecticut coastline.

Reed Hilderbrand completed the Great Island Vision and Master Plans in 2025, after guiding a robust and highly visible public engagement effort to introduce the wider Town to this Gilded Age estate.
